NWA Membership

The National Women's Alliance has two types of memberships: Individual and Institutional. Members of the National Women's Alliance are community activists, scholars, practitioners, community-based organizations, individuals and concerned citizens working for social justice that are committed to building alliances and creating a progressive agenda for social, economic, and political change.

 

Individual membership:
 
 

 

Individuals may join the National Women's Alliance by submitting a short application form and membership fee. Membership fees vary and we have a sliding scale for students and un- or under employed individuals. Our membership is open to anyone who believes in the goals and mission of the National Women's Alliance and is committed to issues of social justice and equality.

Institutional Membership:
 
 


Institutions, schools, and community-based organizations can join the National Women's Alliance in advancing the issues of women of color by becoming a member of the Alliance. Institutional members play a significant role in helping to secure and assure the civil and legal rights of women of color are protected; creating a coordinated community response to social justice issues; and helping to ensure that the voices of women of color are heard at the local and national level.

Institutional membership is open to local, state, community-based, national and international organizations and institutions that are committed to social justice and the issues of women and girls of color.

Institutions can join by submitting a short application and membership fee signed by an authorized agent of the institution.
